SPNI Launches New Website
Users can visit their country sites by clicking on the different flags at the top of the page. Soon, a page for SPNI France will be launched as well.
On our website, users will be able to find information on wide range of SPNI's activities- news and events, annual reports and quarterly bulletins, featured field school accomodations, birding centers, activities of the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and much more. Furthermore, there is a photo gallery with user generated photographs and a soon-to-be active application for downloading desktop wallpaper of images of Israel's beautiful nature landscapes.
Our page's blog will share personal stories, celebrations and experiences from the field, all written by SPNI employees (Field School directors, education directors, national service volunteers, field school guides, orienteering groups, ecologists, to name a few) In the future, the site will serve as a information center for nature in Israel, covering topics such as animals, biodiversity, vegetation, the Red Book, invasive species and more.
The site is still in its initial phase, so we ask for your patience over the next few weeks as we continue to upload and enrich our existing content and fix bugs that may come up in the site. With this, we invite you, our users, to explore our site and share your comments and/or suggestions with us.
Thank you for your patience, and we welcome you to share our love for nature in Israel!
