In honor of Israel's 65th birthday, the Shikmim Field School, located in the spectacular building known as "the "The Palace" in Historical Nitzanim, invites the public for free tours: We'll meet fascinating figures from the place's past, we'll hear about the construction of "The Palace" and we'll talk about the Battle at Nitzanim in 1948 and of the heros of the battle- the fallen female soldiers. We'll watch a fascinating audio-visual presentation. The tour lasts for about an hour, and is free of charge.
