Israel National Trail Passport

The Israel Trails Committee is now issuing Israel Trail passports, allowing hikers to collect stamps as they reach points of interest along the trail. Accumulating stamps along the way intensifies the experience, leaving hikers with a souvenir of their adventures on the trail.

ITC architect Gal Hart conceived the idea for the Israel National Trail Passport during his studies in the architecture department at Bezalel Art and design Institute injerusalem, and developed the concept for his final project, which included a map with 12 stopping points. Each stopping point highlights a key architectural value, which is now the stamp for that point. Hart presented his concept to the ITC, and then designed the passport and the stamps.

At this point, there are 22 stops along the trail where hikers can stop to stamp their passport.
